Thread: Regarding Armor Segments for new droid publish....

I am a Master AS (on Lowca) and I was curious as to what you guys will be looking to buy in regards to armor segments for the new droids.
As I understand it, you will be able to use composite armor segments to enhance the armor of your droids. The question is, what kind of protects? Specials or just as high a base prot as possible?
All feedback is appreciated

Ive since retired as a DE but still try to keep up with the droid changes as much as I can.
Last I heard, quality didnt matter on the composite armor segemnts but if this has changed I think its a great step in the right direction

ok, this needs to be kept straight before any rumors get started.
1) level 5 & 6 have always required composite armor segments.
2) the quality doesn't matter...never has. Give us the worst possible segments you could possibly produce, we could care less.
3) Since the Armor nerf, level 5 and 6 armor modules have become a lot less important.

I was under the impression that things were changing for the upcoming publish. If quality doesnt matter, so base protection % matter? Or should i even bother putting layers in?

nope. Trust me, just sell standard segments -no layers. It will save you a lot of headache and lower your costs (hence lowering our costs). The only thing "changing" recently was loosing any armor ratings we ever had.

Catch this one before the rumors start too... there are no new droids, just new modules.
