Not sure if this has been mentioned before or even posted. But i was reading through the starwars databank and was reading through the different droid bio's. The thing that kinda struck me thats missing from this game and would be anEXCELLENT addition would be if you could have droids learn new skills and abilities the longer you owned them the more useful they'd become. Kinda like how PC's get to pick and choose their professions but have a droid version. Each droid type would have a skill point total and an aptitude for certian areas like medical, combat, artisan. Droids would gain exp like how PC's would gain exp, medical droid types wouldhelp in healing small amounts of wounds and improve as it learns.

You could havepersonality chips that would haveskill points on them and also this would be a way to salvage the chip from the droidonce it was destroyed. You could have a DE build anew body and install your old chip in to save some of your old droid's skills (have some memory skill loss from getting its old body blown up). Thiscould alsolead to rare personality chip drops with more skillpoints on them and also the possiblity of taking chips from killing an opponents droid and "memory wiping" them to use as your own.

Its a great way to introduce more of a Starwars feel to the game and a GREAT way to have people become more attached to thier droids.

If we just concentrate on fixing what we already have, before we add new stuff thats bound to be broken, then DE will be fun enough.

Please excuse my cynical, somewhat grumpy posts sometimes. I'm a DE.
