Thread: Droid Commands in Datapad?

Hello! I searched the database, and couldn't find an answer to my problem. Here goes;

I bought a droid, an R2, and have been successfully training it. My problem is, the commands R2 has learned are not showing up in the datapad. Does anyone have any information regarding this? I logged and relogged (thinking this might be a bug, and the information was actually there), bt this did not fix the problem. Has anyone else had a problem with a droid not listing commands it has acquired?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Not sure what to do about that. But, just so u know, all droids are broke and modules dont work. So its kinda a moot point anyhow

In my experience, droid commands will not show up in the datapad unless you store the droid, deselect it in the data pad by selecting something else.....then finally selecting the droid again.

Actually, it seems that "regular" droids show their commands in the datapad - but ADVANCED models do not. So perhaps you purchased an advanced R2 model (very possible - the regular R2 has only the General Socket Cluster slot for modules, whereas the advanced R2 has a cluster plus two other module slots - I can actually make the advanced but not the regular one).

Actually..only some droids atm show commands in the datapad and others wont..its just one of the many bugs that still need attention.

Another bug? What are you talking about? This is the first and only bug in the DE profession.

I've noticed that some of the droids that I build have their commands listed in the datapad, and some do not. Is there a pattern to when they appear in the datapad, and when they do not?

All pets are missing certain commands listed in the datapad.

For instance, faction pets don't list the "group" command, even though it exists.

Although I haven't checked this, all droids should have the same commands listed since they all require the same programming (another black-spec in DE .. why does a non-combat droid have combat-commands).

What I am see is NO commands listed in the datapad for some droids that I build. Some droids seem to list some, or most, of the commands, but some have NONE!

What droid types are you looking at? I'm guessing the ones that arnt showing the commans are the droids that talk, right?

I'll have to check this later when I'm home. Sorry I can't be much help right now

Some of the droids that were built/tamed around the time of the big CH patch a few weeks ago lost all of their commands listed in the datapad. This is one of the known issues that has been listed in a few different places. It would seem that droids that have been recently tamed, in the last few days, now have the command list returned to them.

Hmm.... I just made/tamed a probot a couple days ago. It doesn't show any of the commands. But my older droids in my datapad do show the commands.

Agreed. I made an R4 and a Probot recently, and both have their commands absent from the datapad.
