Thread: The grind, and why I'm going to complete it
I am currently a 4/3/3/4 DE. I had planned to allow nature to take it's course, and develop my last 200K or so of DCXP strictly through selling droids.
Well, now I think I'm going to change that. It seems that resources are about to go up in price. Harvesters are being simultaneously 'fixed' in terms of experimentation (those harvesters will suddenly CARE whether or not your architect experimented) and 'fixed' in terms of increased power/maintenance costs.

I harvest my ownas well.
IF 'pre-nerf'harvesters retain their full hopper capacity AND extraction capacity, that would be great for me... But I bet they don't. MAYBE hopper capacity, almost certainly not extraction capacity though.
And you can bet that maintenance AND power usage will be increased on all harvesters, not just new ones.
So the BEST case scenario I can envision under this plan is that my current crop of medium and personal harvesters will continue to have max hopper sizes much larger than I actually need, but my costs for harvesting will double.
Fine, I pass that on to my customers and everything is dandy, right?
Only who wants a 60,000 credit R2 droid?
