We could build these now if they patched them in. I figure it would be just like adding a new pet to the creature handlers, same goes for droids.

I can see them adding the IG droid cause it is strong, but not too strong. As for the droideka... well that will never happen because they are just too strong. Ive fought one on Lok, I was tka 2-3-3-3 and had a grand wrix with me, and the droideka owned us. I barely scratched it, it had about 80% health left. Also there is the 'keeping with the over story thing' during this time, combat droids were band after the clone wars. Personally i would like to see a IG type droid that can give a any low level weapon too and they will be able to use it. That would be very entertaining imo. I'm not talking laser rifles or anything, more the tusken and below.

There's also a few implemented droids hanging out in Jabba's palace. There's the Protocol droid with the black bug eyes, and that droid that was running the droid torture chamber. So what.

bah - naysayers - Holo has stated at least twice now that Combat droids are coming. When has not been stated. It is how the Devs plan on fixing the CH problem ... they believe that "droid wars" are far more star warsy than "P-o-k-e-m-a-n" wars... (and i'd have to agree given episode 1 and 2) btw - just cuz stuff is banned or whatever under imperial rule doesnt mean that folks forgot how to make it
