I have conflicting information on this. One guy I sold an adv. Protocol to said the item storage is not an option when he tries to use the droid. What about surgicals or LE Repair, do you guys know if you can use item storage in these droids?

I popped an item storage into a base model Surgical and can't access it so add them to the list. It's probably all conversational droids.

I haven't had any problems with storage modules in any of the droids I have sold, but its very possible that they are not working as of the patch last nite. I will try to test this tonight and message back tomorrow.

Last night my worshipful Advanced LE Repair storage was working, although I couldn't name it. In fact, I put in storage, data, and medical, and all 3 were working.

I havent seen storage or data storage work on any advanced surgical, but I haven't made any in a week or so. No Dev. notes regarding any related changes to droids. Can anyone confirm that these work or dont work now on Conversational droids?

I have a protocol with 10 item storage and data storage they both work fine. I built him awhille back however so maybe this has changed. I sold one last night and threw some storage in it and did not here anything back from the person saying it didnt work, but maybe Ill hear something today.

I bought a Surgical Droid that said 10 item storage but to my dismay, it did not come with the storage or anything else. Can anyone confirm that you can have 10 item storage in a Surgical Droid or did I get ripped off by some shaddy DE?

Surgical Droids can not have storage (its bugged), however all the other droids can have storage and work.

Sometimes works in Protocol Droids (maybe always works, conflicting info).

Droids grief me.

I have a repair droid that has item storage, and it was working fine last night. But it was made a week ago and I didn't try it after the server went down last night.

While we are on the subject of storage, What is the maximum storage space we can get in to a R2 droid? I made one for a guy last night with room for 10 items. And he had the nerve to say it was a lemon because it only had storage for 10 items. Even though he never asked for a specific amount of storage space in it.

10 items is the total max that can be on any droid...

Chances are your DE doesn't even KNOW the item storage is borked on surgicals.

I learned it from this board, and may well have sold a surgical or two myself with purported item storage, all in good faith.

I personally would happily refund the difference, or make a different droid style WITH storage available at a discount if a customer brought this to my attention. Give your DE a chance to make it right.
