I have to admit that I'm a power gamer. I've played many many MMORPGs and have had many playstyles myself.

This is my personal trend with MMORPGs recently.

I find something I like in the game.
I find out how to be the best at it the fastest.
I try and use that to be better than other paths in the game.


Here is my run with SWG.

I saw DE and said "Cool... droids"
I figured out that mindless turbo grinding was the fastest way to get there.
The numbers looked ok when I started.. but god was I wrong...
I got to novice DE and then to my first box in blueprints.


Thats all I can take... I watched everyone else that started around when I did advance.
They put less time in than I did and what did they have to show for it? A decent character that was fun to play.

What do I have to show for all my effort?

And this bitter useless feeling every time I play.

Maybe I'll grind some General Crafting XP and wait till vehicle engineer comes out (prays for the ability to craft swoop bikes)

if you are a powergamer you will get bored real quick with this game.

just take your time and have fun.

Swoop Bikes will be the personal harvesters of vehicles. They are planning on putting it someplace in the Engineering line so at the very least every elite crafter will be able to make them. No idea if the other vehicles will be merged into an existing elite profession, be a combined multi-profession item or be their very own elite profession. At this point it's more likely to be their own elite profession that will require some components from other professions like armour plates, power cores and of course those blasted Master Artisan components we all love to hate. If we're lucky they will need a droid brain or storage compartment from us as optional components.

Fun comes when I'm better than other people... DEs will never ever be better than other people unless...

We can make combat droids and call more than one droid at a time.

But that ain't gonna happen.
