"Can you make me a medical droid for 2K?"

Followed shortly thereafter by: "I only have 2400".

Ya think maybe a droid should NOT be uppermost in his priority list?

If it's true he needs to sort out his priorities, though I don't buy the "I only have xxx" line anymore. Too many times with my CH toon would I get a tell for something like a cowardly gurrek, I'd reply the price (around 20-25k). More often than not they would ask why so much and like an idiot I would explain they're on Endor so between the ticket and the clone there, clone when I get, back you're already looking at 11k. Plus there's the time it takes to find them and the time it takes to catch them (I'm very low level CH so tend to drop over dead very quickly on the advanced planets). They'd say they only have 1-2k since they're new. Then 20 minutes later I'd get a tell from the same idiot, "Okay, I'm on Endor, where do I need to go looking for them?"

Hmmm....you took a trip to Endor, must have had more than 1-2K huh?

Once or twice I could see, but after 5-10 tells like this within 2 weeks? I don't buy it, a price is a price, run missions like everyone else (me included) to make money.

Just my bad attitude

It's time to save up. Droids are advanced player tools. Simple as that.

I have to admit I was touched. When I explained to him that most of the medical-utility droids I sell go for between 20 and 30 thousand credits, he emoted crying on my shoulder.

I hope he finds a novice who is willing to make a med1 droid or something. I had to gently break it to him that once I had attained the skill to do so, I forever put behind me crafting medical droids below 100% effectiveness, and I prefer to do 110%.

Like the guy in Composite armor, saying PLZ make me an adv. Probot for 15K, while he shows me all his uber CH pets in my shop. If you can afford composite, don't waste my time trying to talk my price down, tell your mommy to give you a bigger allowance, then come back. Or go to Valcyn server and buy 5 of them there.

Darn it, Niklut... I thought you were really onto something there, too. If I could make droids that would want to buy droids and become customers, I'd be set!

I get the composite buyer all the time, I dont have any credits, well sell a left bracer and you will have enough fortwo if its good composite.

I had someone put in a order of driods the other day and I gave them a price, they came back and said my DE friend said thats to much. So my reply was why wouldnt he make them for you then? Answer he doesnt have the resources.

A long while ago I may have relented, but droids are high end products. I had a conversation with someone not long ago wanting to get a Probot for 3k, since he was new. Talked it over with him, and hopefully helped him understand that I am not going to lower my prices to that extreme and that droids are expensive (from a broke or new player perspective). We sure aren't going to make any money by leaning over and dropping droids on the ground for nothing. Stay firm on your prices, and you will find that people will raise the money.

I never, ever relent on my prices. I set them how I see them, and if you can't afford it, then I'm sorry. Money is just a matter of time people....if you can't make the price I'm setting, then you can bear to spend another day without it while you grind some missions to get the cash.

Beggars do nothing but irritate me and take precious time away from paying customers.

I'd love to be able to charge 15k for an advanced probot on valcyn...unfortuantly that will never happen due to the rather "aggresive" pricing some of the DEs employ.
