I dunno if I missed a thread some where but i just read the fix list for the upcoming BIG patch. Here is the DE list. Stand back this may take some time to load!

Droid Engineer - Fix for a few droids and droid schematics were not granting XP for their being crafted.

Droid Engineer - Now a pet droid won't ever have any armor unless it was crafted onto it.

Ok I was optimistic after the last BIG patch that the devs would see that DEs are screwed and they would come to our rescue a bit. I guess I was wrong.

I am going to decide now if I drop DE or SWG all together I am very disappointed

Oh yeah and heres another cool part the BIG patch:

Bounty Hunter - added 5 charges to probots

Some of the stuff in the patch notes like this are typos of stuff allredy in there thay said that. Also the new Droid repair kits:

so that meens you can have a repair shop as a part of your biz and that might meen the probots can be broken to the point it just falls apart.

Wow I can't believe the lack interest here in our profession. Last big patch everyone freaked the correspondant almost ended up quitting but this time is like you all are numb and have come to accept that our prof will just be broken and no one will really seek out our product like they do creature pets for example. How often to you see people /yell Droids for sale compared to /yell Selling pets get them while ya can! I think it sucks!

Droids are a 100 times more a part of the Star Wars universe than creatures ever were!

I am not a DE.

But i have a really dumb question here. They want to give DE's viable useful droids. Um why not make the ones available actually useful.

Why is there a droid repair kit when we have LE Repair droids? Does this boggle only me or am i smoking something?

We have binary load lifters. But with a storage module they can only carry 9 items? Hmm i am a human female and i can carry much more then 9 items. Maybe i am Wonderwoman?

Its even better than that, the current droid repair kit is unusable. And although we can craft droid repair modules to install in droids the module doesn't work in LE Repair (or any other 'converse') droids.

Lol! Binary load lifters are a total joke. Even the advanced model cannot hold ANY MODULES so it can't carry any items at all! Oh but they require Master Droid Engineer to craft, and can hold THREE armor modules. Too bad they can't fight either.

Probots are decent entry-level tanks if they have medium armor and 40% resists, plus they can hold more than the BLL if they have item storage, and they can repair better than an LE repair droid if they have the repair module.

DZ-70s are definitely a joke as they currently stand. They may as well have given an attack ability to a MSE, allow DEs to have an army of like 30 of them out at a time, and maybe they could take on a durney lair.

Its pretty unfortunate that there are so many broken and 'useless' droids still three months after launch. I really wish the devs would 'fix' what we have before moving on to new things (player cities, etc.) but apparently we are not nearly as important to the community.

YES! Finally a rant! Way to go Winnowill! Thats what I am talking about. Its that time of the month people, time for the neglected DEs to have PMS again and stand up for what we believe. And we believe that the devs don't give a flying <expletive> about this prof and we are very interested in knowing why?

Unfortunately, this may well lead to "Joe Droid Customer" to decide they'd rather just buy a non-CH (lvl 15) creature, since it will take much longer to get to this point.

The Devs need to place a higher priority on fixing this, as our products simply aren't attractive or practical for many, many users.

Is there some way we can like crash servers or something to get attention?

I heard about abunch of people programming a ton of mse droids in the middle of theed and so much that it crashed the server. Is that true? We should do that a couple of times maybee. If it works. heh.
