It matters, if you mean you get an extra 3 HAM at most as a master DE on your probot. Otherwise, i've seen no difference, if only it allowed us to tweak damage, armor percents, and the efficiency (rating) of modules...

For some of the modules, it would appear to matter a little. For example, an Item Storage 4 Module normally holds 7 items. I've managed to increase it to 8 when I'm using good resources and get some great experimentation results.

At least with my droids, the materials make a difference. All my probots come out at around 820 or so with the decent fibreplast used in the final assembly, no experimentation. That value sticks too even after storage. so choose materials, don't bother with the exeperimentation except for the crafting stations.

All Advanced Probots have 820 HAM. Basic Probots have 810 HAM. No matter what it states on the Deed or in the datapad, nothing changes. Don't take my word for it. Call out your Probot, select it, and do a mouse-over on its HAM bar. It will either be 810 or 820, dependent on whethter its an Advanced or not.

Madcat, make a Probot and experiment on it. Most you can get the HAM on experiment is 825. Now, tame that Probot, and Store it. Check the HAM. What is it? Answer 810. Experimentation does not work.

My advanced probots have 824 HAM, my basics 814 HAM.

I know that this is a VERY SMALL differance but it comes from experiminting and materials.

With no experimintaion you get the 810 for basic 820 for advanced

I think that experimentation and materials matters on crafting stations, but unfortunatly there is no way to know. I usually experiment on the crafting station and use some high quality copper (not too high since you don't get all the experimentation points you should) and I usually get a rating of 8. Unfotuantly there's no way to know what that equates to in an architect created crafting station.

Yes,. call out your advanced probot, Select it, Mouse-over it's HAM bar in the target window and look disappointed. because even though it SAYS 820 on the deed, AND the Datapad, it will only be 810/810 (810). It doesn't matter if you experiment AT ALL. It doesn't matter what materials are used either.

Probots have 810 HAM period. Advanced or not. Don't trust what your datapad, deed or examine window says. Target your droid, mouse-over the Target window, read and weep.
