Thread: A new European Server my sad tale
Well you know how it is, you work through MA, sell a few personal harvesters and survey tools, and you get your MA title..so far so cool
THEN you grind for the 'Elite' profession of DE
On the way the system helpfully reminds you that you have qualified for Novice in a money-making profession...and having done DE before you are tempted...you pause...you think...tempted for sure, and nothing to lose....
New Server - you are poor as a church mouse, and you think hard about taking the easy way out - go make some armour or weapons..but no...you love Droids so you keep going.
Then comes the moment...you stand in front of the NPC Droid Engineer Trainer, wearing your cheap clothes and with just credits enough to pay for the training, and you have to wonder - should I?
I actually took a screenshot to record my moment of madness...yes I'm doing it again.
Why? Because I love Droids and know that they should be there in the game. I see all the new players discussing the excitement of the Novice DE title they just got, and I cry inside at the disappointment that awaits them. I really couldn't do anything else. I am quite mad I'm sure.
For what it may be worth, I cry for this profession, and I hope Sintrosi has the willpower to keep kicking ...else I know I too am wasting my time.
Sad story..mock me if you like..I'm quite mad, so I won't care.
This post will disappear long before TH reads it - I don't care about that either..I just wanted to tell you how it felt - so sad it hurt.
