Actually Vash I believe Sony feels that if a Crafter wants to fight, they can make their choices and use their remaining skill points on Combat Skills....You get nothing for free, everything is about the choices you make.

I see you are a MCH.
If you turn DE's into a mechanical version of droids, then give us our resources needed for crafting for free. We, unlike CH's, have harvesters to maintain.
A DE with master MA (which is needed to make almost all droids), a and few merchant bubbles for the vendor, cannot get a mastery in a combat profession.
So, there has to be some way that DE's can sell some of these droids that we are promised.
DE's don't want to be a weak, expensive mechanical of CH's.

Why is itso hard for you to understand thedesire to sell combat droids to everyone.
Whats the differance between being able to drive a dodge and a lexus,,none,,so why should there be some stupid licence to operate a top of the line combat droid?
To heck with the DE-only combat droid.
Give me something new, and cool, and kinda sorta deadly, and make it so only skilled (not necessarily Master, but higher-level) DEs can make a really good one.
And then let me sit in front of Coronet starport on patch day, fielding multi-hundred-thousand credit offers for them.
That's all I really want.
