Thread: State of the Profession Droid Engineers
Well I do have to say that it is a sad day when you profession
correspondent is talking about resigning. I just verifies that the
droid engineer profession is a joke. Why where the Protocol droids
not made a component in the new Player city buildings, shuttle ports?
The DEs were asked for their input on what would be fun for the game
to include on the Player City Patch. Of course this was just another
attempt of the Devs and Forum leaders to keep us quiet. All we asked
is to fix what is broken, now nothing works, not even our correspondent.
I think that the correspondent has done a wonderful job with our forum
and keeping the Devs posted of our bugs and want lists. Now she is
talking about resigning due to the lack of interest shown to the profession.
This is a path that I would not like the DE profession to go down. All
it would take is one un-nerf and a few fixes and all would be fine.
Let's face it, 2 vehicles (that have yet to be introduced on the
test server versus 5 pet mounts that OH YEA can fight too with
insane stats. Let's see if the vehicles can help tank....????
I am a master artisan and have yet to see and profit from the items
that I can craft. I can make useless droids that do not fight and
do not work. I have spent all of my points on useless professions
when all I have to do is master creature handler and not even worry
about being a jedi, because the CH is more powerful.
I am sure that this thread will be locked, but it makes me feel better
that I posted this to get this off of my chest. I will not be continuing
the artisan path anymore. I would like to thank all involved in making
my journey to Master Artisan, DE - 2/0/0/4 and Novice Weaponsmith possible
Good luck to all the BHs out there in need of seekers, and arakyds
they will be a rare item in the future if the devs continue to
waste the DE profession.

No no -- I am only considering resigning because of real life issues. Granted I blew a gasket yesterday and almost did it early, but I do want to state that I believe in the DEV team and TH. Mistakes have been made, but what has happened cant be changed. All we can do is go forward.
