Droid Engineer Archive

Search is currently off-line. I bought an R3 droid acouple of weeks ago. It was supposed to be a combat droid, but once I generated it, it didn't have any combat abilities. I understand this is some type of nerf/bug, but do I need to hang on to it in hopes of a fix, or should I scrap it and buy a new one (IF the new R3 Combat droids are now working)?

You might be able to send a message to the Droid Engineer you bought it from (hopefully you can remember) and let them know. They may not have realised that there is a bug, or not realised they were getting it (I have yet to come across it with my characters but wont risk it for other buyers). I am sure they will be understanding and will replace it with a new one and trade it with you.

For now I would think it best to continue to trade combat droids as this may be the only guaranteed way to keep the combat skills.
