I have a question as an aspiering DE (who cant spell). Dose experimentation, and resorce quality matter in this profession? I read the DE 101 guide, so mabey its because im stupid, but I dont get it. It almost sounds like the only thing that resorce quality matters on is combat related stuff, and like experimentation matters as long as you can get a rateing of 0 out of it. Am I right? or a simpilton who needs to avoid posting on the boards after being up till 4AM. Thanks!

Right now quality and exp matters very little on anything.

Wait, is this true for detonation modules??!?!? My DE friend is always complaining about lack of good toluium.

Yes experimentation still counts on bomb modules, as well as a handfull of other modules. but other than that everything else experimentation is useless.

Ok, I have a little more time now, to elaborate, off the top of me head, the following are the only things that experimenting and resources matters on.
Harvest Modules (broken)
Detonation Modules
Stimpack Dispensers (cap at 30 seconds pretty easy, but the better the module more stims, low market.)
Auto-Repair Modules (these are not working well)
Trapping Modules (not working correctly)
Interplanetary Survey Droids (you can get more charges)
Droid Stims (repair kits)
I think that is about it.
So as you can see, Detonation Modules are really about the only truly marketable item that exp and resoruce quality still matters on.
This isn't to say waste your good resources, or don't collect them, keep doing so. These may get fixed "soon." Just remember that soon may be in terms of a mosquito lifespan or the age of a mountain.

To elaborate, before Publish 18 we could experiment on quality or effectiveness (cant remember which now) and it would boost the health of a droid but now. Regardless of resource quality and experimenting the droid turns out the same. Hopefully they will get bored with *fixing* combat roles and work on non-combat roles. Oh look, a pig flying. *laughs insanely*
