I just saw him use a smoke screen against a group of Stormtroopers in Cloud City.

Here is a thought... An area effect smoke screen that can mezz your targets for 60 seconds... it breaks on damage. If a droid had that ability, I would definately invest in him.

Just a friendly smuggler shout out to our fellow disrespected Droid Engineers. We too know your pain. I was a Droid Engineer at one point too, you guys deserve more respect...

I'd just like my R2 to be able to solo two SBD's like Artoo did in EpIII.

I wish we could build SBDs. Or Battle Broid, Droidika, or IG series droid.

But anyway, R2-D2 was modified alot by Anakin Skywalker. Extra compartments, jets, arch welder, fire extinguisher (might also be smokescreen), buzz saw, electrical buzz baton, and a manipluator arm. We would have to a a new droid crafting system to allow us to have certain abilities to the droids.

Honestly, we know that certain professions, such as Smuggler, Entertainers, ID's, Commandos and so many more need love. There are so many possiblities to fix each profession by doing such with droids, yet for some reason, that never happens.

I would love it if a Droid could do a smoke screen like that, but then imagine having 20 on a battlefield. Sadly the problem with making droids too cool, is that everybody would have one. While I would love that, there are balance issues.

Simply stock your R2 with 4 combat modules and the Entertainer Fog Effect module....it'll feel just like the movies!
