Well actually I am a DE so since the Probot nerf i haven't logged in .


So in my spare time while playing Earth and Beyond i been working to fix our class by reading posts and putting those ideas into a skill tree form.


Something we can actually look at and wish for sorta speak.


In this tree you will see most of the ideas from this board.


A) segragation of droid lines keeping all lines useful and needed.


B) new modules as asked for without being too powerful, which would eventually bring the nerf bat back, he still cons red BTW.


C) probot restored to usefull while not being too powerful , notice there is no clusterfuk module that would allow way too many mods in one single bot rendering them either too powerful or others too useless.


D)DZ-70 brought up to par with newbie usefulness.


E) MSE mouse used as in the movies for data courier only nothing more.


F)BLL that actually do something.


G) Proto's that actually do something.


H) data mods used to store missions while not being over powered.


I) armor mods being useful without being too over powered.


J) something more to wave around on this board that will never be seen by developer eyes.


K) room for expansion, i am currently working on the tree above this one, for the Elite-Elite Combat Droid Technician.

A **edit** good post, seems you have pulled alot of teh suggestions from the community into the tree.
Its very kool to see that most of teh suggestions are utility based, IE: Driods to pick up resources, I love that one.

However since there are those that would love to see increased varriety in the number of droids that can be crafted, as well as incrased functionality. And so, with that in mind I would deem that "combat" driods are still going to be required, Im not talking about the big bad ass ones, hell I would be happy with the Trade Fed' Battle driods.. the fact that (and this has been hashed over tirelessly) probots are the ONLY attack driod is rediculus.

One other thing.. I seem to recall that before the release of SW:G, I remeber reading an artical about driods that you WOULD be able to use them as miners, transports etc... I may be wrong, but if in fact the artical that was released was false (along with several other promises SOE had made) then It would seem that they are in deep Sh*it do to false advertising... I for one did not forsee the game being so dull .. I mean for cripes sake I come home, do missions for an hour (work) load up teh harvesters and power stations (more work) before I can even begin to grind (more work) .. Im only about half way through to master DE but I bet the masters would agree it has been no picnic, and do to the fact that the driods' functionality is flawed and damned near usless even half of the changes proposused here and in other posts would be an improvment.

As I see it the proffession has not even finished upon release, they know it, we know it... And yet they released it anyway, personaly I feel robed of my hard earned RL money. And considering I cant even cancel my subbscription to come back a few months from now is a real burn as well .. Even anarcy online kept your account for a long perioid of time.
