Regarding Shipwright:
- Why is there no interdependancy with other professions? The Devs have said in the past that they were pushing for more interdependancy, not less. Looking over the SW skill tree, they don't need a single component from another profession. Yet, the JtL parts added for DEs (unprogrammed chips) require MA parts? What the heck?
- No AP needed to master? Every other class in this game requires AP to master. I just created a new toon and have been at 4-4-4-4 artisan for 3 weeks, without a single apprenticeship point, even spamming all the well-populated areas.
Now, not to say the Devscan't change their own rules mid-game, butSW requires simply raw resources with the only subcomponents needed being optional upgrades. Comparing this to DE, where you need subcomponents for subcomponents for subcomponents, and it seems a little rediculous. Granted, SW have to hand craft the majority of their stuff, butI'd give up the factory any day to be not dependant on other classes, and not having to carry packs full of subcomponents around.
Just needed to get this off my chest a bit, thanks for listening ![]()

Issue 1 was complained about plenty during Beta, I don't know if I ever read a clear awnser why...
Issue 2 I've heard relates to the AP system being compleatly useless, as they intended it.

If it's useless, they should drop it for everyone, not make 1 class exempt from it.

And I agree whole heartedly about the interdependancy thing. I've posted my complaints with the interdependancy a couple times in this forum.
