What all doesthe lvl of Flight computer or Astromech determine? Does the Astromech level determine how many programs it can store?

Say I am a pilot 2/2/2/2...do the astromech commands I get at lvl 2 require a lvl 2 astromech/flight computer.

Can I store an astromech command I get at 0/0/0/1 in a lvl 2,3,4,5 or 6 level astromech/FC

Do Novice pilots have any astromech commands available? If not what is the purpose of a level 1 astromech/FC?(I'm at work and cant remember if the Novice box gives astromech commands but I'm thinking you dont get them until the first box of 4th branch?)

Am I just confusing myself??? lol

I guess I'm trying to answer my own questions but from what I understand now(went back over the Droid 101 guide since my original post):

- The Astromech level is a rating that for pilots determine the max level of astromech/FC a pilot can use?

- The astromech/FC level also determines what is the maximum level command the droid/FC itself can hold?

- The astromech/FC level also determines how many commands a droid/FC can hold?

hmmmm?

Anyone pilot can store any program, as long as their droid has enough Data Storage Capacity. Each program has a set Program Size. As long as the program size is less then the data storage capacity, that it left, the program can be added.

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.
