Hi,
Being a bit stupid here. Am I right in thinking that the Level of an Astromech comes from the Program Modules NOT the actual chassis of the droid? So my customers can buy any frame as long as they load the correct chips in?

It's related to the Data Storage Module.

Which is why most people simply crank out R5's.
