I am relatively new to DE, and have found it a very interesting and enjoyable profession so far. I am finally trying to get in to some really high end droid but one thing that is really confusing me is :
Is it possible to put all five crafting stations (Weap, Struc, Med, Cloth, Ship) and one item storage unit into one droid? I have ready through and could find nothing to help me. I have seen droids for sale with all 4 (before ship) plus a storage compt. How can this be done??? If so please explain, I cannot seem to find a droid that has enough modules (unless I am missing something on putting this stuff into defensive module slots). Can someone please explain!
Thanks!

Yes this would be possible with one current droid chassis only: The Advanced R3. It's the only one that can currently hold 6 modules.

Plus you will need lidium extrusive ore and neutronium Steele for the lvl 6 Item Storage Module, so it might be a bit rare.
The ones with the 4 mods simply stacked lvl 4 mods that dont need any spezific ressource.

Yes, it is possible in an Advanced R3 Droid that holds 6 modules, if you can find the rare resources to make the Level 6 Item storage module.
But I ask, "Why all 5 crafting stations?" As it currently stands, unless you're just a dabbler in all the crafting professions and take none of them seriously, a better combination would be the Level 6 Item Storage Module, a Level 6 Data Storage Module (to hold up to 150 of your excess Data Schematcs, and believe me, before long, you'll need that space), and then select the Four crafting stations which you would use the most.
I personally have all except Architect/Structural crafting stations in my Super-Crafter-Dude R3, and have put the Structural crafting station in an R4 with item and data storage modules, "just in case." :0
With the advent of Shipwright, and many, many Masters of other crafting professions taking that up (the most logical being DE since there are so many Droid components needed), we seriiously need to petition (ack! - bad word!) the Devs for more storage space, both item and data, in our crafting/utility droid models. But I digress.

In my experience of selling "crafting droids" over the past year an a half, I've found that the most typical combination would be 3 crafting stations, data and item storage.
The 3 being; weapon food and structure with either food or structure occasionaly being replaced with tailor.
Since droid crafting modules will now only work for the owner, it seems pointless to me to place all 5 crafting modules into one droid. As it stands I don't think its possible to have more than 3 crafting professions on one char anyway, so typicaly you'd only need the weapon crafting module for just about every artisan-related plus a few extra elite profs and 1 or 2 special modules for the elite profs.
If you go for 3 crafting + data and item storage, you also have a slightly larger range of droids to chose from. 5 modules can fit into the ADV R2, ADV Probot and ADV R3.

These are mainly used by pure artisan characters. The food, clothes, etc. that an Artisan earns no longer are all WDG based. They use the respective tools and stations. This means that you need a structure tool and station to make personal harvestors, etc.
