Thread: Positive post! I made my first Jet Pack!

I've been on dozens of runs with my combat toon, but only one with Ugo. That run ended in a crafting failure, But last night I finally did it! I now have my own Jetpack. Went down with like seven Jedi plus the usual other profession+ Zorkk the MDE to hold my hand LOL. Did it in less then 2 hours.

WOOT! Congrats. It keeps me going in Droid Eng. right now. Failing really sucks especially if it's someone else's JP.

Very nice! I'm being approached by a group that tries to do the DWB run on a somewhat regular basis. It sounds like it'd be fun!

do it .. its the most fun group thing to do in the game.... I have made 13 with our team and we still are not bored... when you geta good group you can do 2 on one buffset.. We do it with 7 people , me (DE MA TK), another tk and fencer, a swordsman, 2 jedi and a doc. It seems to be easier with a small group.

Congrats!
I went down recently to make a friend's jetpack...
we had a team of 9... 4 tanks, 4 rifles, and my MDE/MA self staying out of the way

LOL those days are numbered. I usually do it with a group of 9 or 10. Pretty soon you will need 9-10 groups of 9-10.

sadly yes.... which makes me wonder how that many people are going to want to go down for 1 jetpack?
assuming the DWB is even possible after the CU
edit: i guess it wouldnt be that bad if you had 1 crafter per group...... but if the groups are limited at 8... well thats an even smaller group!

It's nice having a desired use in the game 
But, my DE is also a Master Swordsman. I've been down numerous times and have a jetpack. I had the honor of crafting the, I think, 4th Mando helmet on our server. And it didn't come out pink!

Crafted my firsta fewnights agowith my DE and then a second a few nights after... (neither were for myself)
Our group that goes usualy has one or two jedi, two CMs (very important) a few tanks (also very important) and then some ranged dmg dealers. Realy everyone in the group is important and its an awsome expample of cordinated teamwork.
Probably the most fun I've had in the game...although I usually prefer takeing my CM or Rifleman/Ranger becuase then I actually get to do something during the hour and a half two hours it takes to get to the crafting rooms lol.

My team just completed a full mandalo last night 
I crafted the helmet and both bracers !!
Here's a picture of it before recolorization :
First Full Mandalorian armor on Kauri !
And then a kind CSR accepted to recolor it :
White and purple : Sooooo beatifull !
I also crafted 9 jetpacks but i have a dozain more to craft in the next weeks Last time we crafted 3 during one doctor buff !!!

OOoooh yes it is
I'mdisappointed the CU will change the mandalorian crafting to a schematic or something like that. We will loose the "magic" of this experience, the AS crafting the part from the schematic will steal the exciting moment when you checkwhat you just craftedin your inventory !
