I hope I'm not reposting here.
I got the fuzzies when I read this -
Notice the push
for crafters to carry attack droids. I was right all along... Good thing I got
crates of 6000 HAM LEs out last night. (At least I hope I'm right...)

Ouch. You crafted a ton of droids just before the CU?
Are combat droids being converted? I didn't think they were...in which case you just made a bunch of droids that will be obsolete by tomorrow. Their stats are going up.
Never a good idea to rush into making products before an update like this - you tend to get burned with bad stock.
Hoping for the best for you,
AO

Yea...I've never recommended to any MDEs that they do final runs prior to any updates/revamps.
The subcomponents? Sure.
Chassis? Yea...I got a lot of those.
But the final build? Wait to make sure you're safe (waste not, want not...'eh?).

Looks like it might have actually been a good idea. HAM on newly crafted droids has gone down, not up.

Unless you didn't pull them out of the crates, then you get hosed either way.

Check out his live combat droids thread, I'm at work and can't test, are you getting something different?

Well, crud. As I stated over on that thread, this has got to be a bug...

Max health on Combat LE Droids is now 3005. That is without having Experimenting clothing attachments...

It would have been a good idea, but all of them got changed to 3005 Health. Now I have Droid Deedsnamed "Attack Droids - 6000 HAM" with 3005 Health. I guess that's false advertising.

Ah, this pretty much tells me this is a bug. I'm going to hold out on making combat droids until this gets fixed.
