Not really sure if I should put this in here or in theID forums but here goes ...
I'd like to see the ability for IDs/DEs to create cybernetic implants (for looks mainly) such as a cybernetic eye (one eye looks vaguely mechnical like it glows red). Perhaps even have cybernetic prosthetics like artificial arms or legs.

Would be very cool. Maybe we could make them as DE's and ID's would add them? Could be neat.

That would be cool and maybe include doctors such that doctors are required to prepare the eye socket, shoulder, hip for placement of a cybernetic limb. Get some cross profession involvement. ![]()

So I'm not sure it would be appropriate for the technology of our timeline to have "unnatural" cybernetic appendages.
Do remember that not all races/species have the same considerations as others as far as aesthetics are concerned. In addition, what about Melllichae (jedi padawan trial)? He has a cybernetic arm that is just a robotic/droid like appendage.
Plus this could involve doctors, DEs, and IDs in the process. Doctors to prepare the shoulder/hip, DEs to build the appendage, and ID's to give it a certain look and install it.

I like the idea to combine DE, Docs and ID to 'apply' such cybernetic replacements or alterations. From my knowledge of the Star Wars universe (including the so called Expanded universe) such cybernetic replacements were pretty comon. In most cases they are designed to resemble the original appearance, but not allways... Especially the not se rich folks had to take what they could get and had to use clearly robotic looking replacements for lost limbs or eyes.

Oh, I am all for cross profession involvement. I am pretty tired of completely self sufficient toons that have no need of the rest of us.

I love the idea and I am glad that it is just for looks. Too many people want everything to have mods on them. I would sign it.

If you want really really cool, make it be possible for some to look fairly normal, until the person gets so many wounds. Then parts of machinery are exposed.

Would be interesting if a Cybernetic Arm gave you better firing speed or accuracy at top condition, but as you take wounds your speed and accuracy could get worse than normal, as a trade off. Having mods on them might be doable that way.
Also it'd look cool as it sparks etc when it gets damaged

Forget the Skywalker stealth-cybernetics, Lobot had visible cybernetics wrapped around his head.
