Thread: Compiling a list of viable droids post CU
Now that crafters are very vulnerable when out doing things like placing harvesters, one of the reccomendations I read somewhere (might have even been from an SOE type) was to group with a combat droid. If I recall correctly, they even mentioned something about the combat droids being much more effective than they are now. Might be worth looking into. I know I have two combat droids in my datapad: one for damage (bought specifically to take down the phase 3 melee accuracy quest turrets through the shields) and one non-XP stealing Probot for tanking (1 point-per-hit). If I remember to, I'll try them out tonight and post my findings here.
(P.S. I'm considering DE for my alt, so I have a vested interest in the results as well)

Astromech never bothered with them, why use a astromech if a FC does the job

Crafting Droids - at least until all the crafters leave No crafters left it seems...
Maintenance DroidsAutomated cash deduction
Merchant BarkersGVS
Entertainer droids (in theorie)
Seeker/Arakyds(with all the MA parts a bother to make)
