Any clue which of the new stims it will take?
Jenden did they tell you this or will this have to be tested on TC?
With this update can anyone fill the droid stimpacks? or is it still limited to a certain skill class?
Ok, the good news....
1) yes, they do "work"
2) They operate on a different timer than the "hand use" stimpacks that anyone can use (depending on your combat level).
Now, the bad news...
1) Loading the droid requires Medical Support IV (makes sense, since that replaced pharmacology IV)
2) Stim-A's are still the only stims that can be loaded.
3) I made a probot with a stimpack delivery of 40, I was able to request a stimpack every 18 seconds ....a much longer delay than they used to be. Unfortunatly, I lack the resources to create better ones. I don't expect these to hit the 1 second delivery anymore.

I'm glad that this was changed, since Pharm IV is only required by BE now. With it being changed to Med Support IV, any Doctor you see will be able to help you load the droid.

StimAs are now more effective with the CU, though anyone of a certain combat Level can use them. High end StimAs can heal up to 8% of a Level 80 toon, in one hit.

I'm not so sure that the 1 second Stim delivery has been removed. It would appear that its just a lot more difficult to hit now.
The new Stim Delivery time formula appears to be the following, from the testing that I have performed...
{60 - (x+1)}second
If this is the case, then an Adv R3 made with 6 100% Eperimentation Effectiveness Stimpack Dispensors should hit 1 second per use. 9 Rated modules should hit at least 6 seconds per Stim, which is one-tenth the time it takes for the refresh cycle on any non-medics Stim use.
If your average StimA is 150pts of healing per 60 seconds, for a non-Medic toon, then 150pts per 20 seconds, with a 40 rated droid, is a major improvement, especially since you can also use your a Stim yourself, which is equal 600 Health healing every 60 seconds, which is around the same as using a StimC, with a lot less of a combat level rating.
With a close to maxed out Adv R3 Unit, using an average StimA of 150pts of healing will allow you to heal yourself for close to 1800 Health per minute, or about the same rate as StimD healing.
- Are the droids Hit points or HAM if people want to still call it that fixed also?
- If not, is it for another update?
I read, that this is being looked into but just thought well maybe, you know, they are slipping it in to suprise us DE

When I read this on the patch notes, here's what popped into my mind...
"Mr. Hammond.....the phones are working."

I still don't expect the high quality onesto be extremely commonplace (mostly due to the high OQ/cond steel requirement). For example, I believe the probot I made above would have been very close to the 1 second cap if not make it under the old system.
On the other hand, I see this on a more positive note. With the combat queue gone away, it's actually much easier to recieve a stim from a droid when you need it. So, we might see the usefullness of this type of droid increase, but there is much more differentiation in product between someone who just thew one together and someone with the best resources.
Maybe I have missed something - but what is even the point of the module anymore?
Stims are available to all combat players now to use. To use a Stim D all you need is to be combat level 56 (or something like that) Lvl 80 players are buying Stim D's to heal themselves with.
Why buy a droid to do something you can do just by putting on your toolbar now.
IMO there is no use for this module anymore ![]()

Because:
1) They operate on different timers
2) You can only use 1 stim/30 seconds using it by hand
- Your taking something beyond your level
- Your group is taking on 8-10 more mobs than they should be.
yeah that makes perfect sense with the it only being filled like that, I was just curious how it was going to be handled since now almost everyone can use stimpacks.
Thanks for the feedback
