Thread: Droid Armor 6, and a little loophole

Not that it matters right now, since droid armor doesnt mean anything, but in my effort to craft a bunch of composite armor segments before the CU conversion killed my ability to make top level droid armor, I found a few interesting things.
Here is me crafting a schematic for Droid Armor 6, post CU
How did I get Composite Armor Segments after the CU conversion?
I started a schematic before the update. Half (500) were finished by the time my server was converted, and they were converted to Assault Armor Segments. I think that because they have the same name and serial number as these, the factory will accept them.
Crafting the Droid Armor did not recognize the Assault Segment version of the item, but the Composite Segment was accepted just fine.
I'll know in about 38 hours when the factory runs out of the Composite Segment version and either crashes the server, or crafts its 500th piece of Droid Armor

It will work.
I had a run of 1k levle 6 droid armor cooking, well actually 2 runs. They were going when the CU started, and they kept going after the CU came. Now if only armor would work.
