Makes ya feel good though, don't it? We're in essence the Red-Headed Stepchildren of the crafting professions.

To be honest, I don't really mind; I've never been comfortable in the majority. I always felt that if a lot of people agree with me I must be doing something wrong.

Just wish were in bigger numbers so the Devs would pay a little attention to us. Even just admitting there was a problem would be a nice step.

What does your droid have to say?

Jetpacks crafted = 0 | Mando crafted = 0

The squeaky wheel gets the grease! That is so true, but in a game such as this, balance is what devs seem to be going for. They are always nerfing and buffing to try to get balance. Looks to me like the less played professions show unbalance.

"What is up with nobody wanting to be a squad leader, chef, or droid engineer? We better look at these professions and beef them up to make them more attractive so more players want to master them"

That would go along with them wanting to balance everything. Nerf bounty hunters to thin the numbers? No, they are needed cause there are too many jedi. Nerf the jedi to thin their numbers? No, jedi were elite and really should be. 1.5x more powerful than a regular player? No, they really should be 10x more powerful as they really were in the movies, heck there they were around 100x more powerful. They should have in their bio that they are jedi or in training for jedi so people aren't surprised when they accept a duel, THEN the lightsaber comes out. Bounty hunters shouldn't be elite against other professions, just have the sneakiness to take out a jedi if need be. Any other combatant shouldn't even be a problem for jedi to take out, they are jedi! They have a glowy thing in there hand, and it's NOT just to dance with! (which those are really cool, go entertainers!) What should be done is giving these less mastered professions more stuff to make them more attractive. That would be the balance the CU was going for, only not 'just' for combatants. Stop messing with what "everybody" plays and figure out why "nobody" plays the others. If "everybody" is a jedi or bounty hunter, then those professions are doing great!!!

That's just my opinion!

But who cares? I'm just a lowly MDE!

/think gotta love 'em!

That's exactly why I picked up Weponsmith, when Pub 21 happened. At least I know I'll have one profession that will usually work. If they break all the guns, you can bet it will get a lot more attention than if they break all the droids...

Yep, DE is the fourth least played profession according to Astromech Stats

Only Squad Leader, Chef, and Force Sensitive - Crafting are below us. Number 1 and 2, you guessed it, Force Sensitive - Combat and Bounty Hunter.
