Just created an R3 droid last night for a friend of mine and one for myself. He is an Architect and wanted a Structure crafting station in his and I used a Clothing Crafting in mine. When I tamed my R3 it would not allow me to craft any of the high end parts with it. Pulled out my trusty R2 unit and was able to craft anything.

Does anyone know if only one type of Crafting station works for making high end parts? When I made my R2 unit (many months ago) I was able to place a Clothing Crafting station and still make high end parts, Did they change this in one of the patches? If so I would like to add to the next patch to have it removed. All of the Crafting stations say XXXXX DROID crafting stations. This means that we should be able to use any station to craft droid components from any station.

I later went back and made a protocol droid and this time used a weapon crafting station and it worked fine. I really want to use my R3 unit as it has a Level 6 Storage, data, and medical module along with a repair module. I would like to use this droid so that I can repair and store stuff when combat droid go live.

Nope, I knew about two crafting stations interfering with each other. The stations work the station in my droid just doesn't allow me to create items greater then level three. This is where you need to have a private crafting station. This station is acting like it is a public station, that is what is upsetting me. I build droid crafting stations in my droids so I can make any droid on the run. This droid won't let me make anything about a base R4.
