Ok so I am interested in becoming a Driod Engineer. I was recently told that Droids are not

Combat viable. So why are there Probots then? Can't you use these for destroy missions

and for PVP?

And if not. What are Droids for? Making $only? If so, is their really a maket for them without

them that way?

Lets see:the probot IS combat capable. It does not make a good damage but it is a good tank because of the 40% Medium resist to all kind of damages.

You can use it for missions and such... as long as you know its limitations. It is a CL 10 pet afterall, if you usually solo high level creatures then no, the probot is not for you

There are other things droids can do, mainly serve as mobile private crafting stations, item storage and meidcal droids (allow medics to heal wounds without being in a medical center).

Yes, there is a market for droids. You wont do as much benefit as a WS or an AS.. but you can make droids for a living
