I thought the DZ70 had been changed to no longer engage in melee combat. I could have sworn I read that it was given ranged capability now... perhaps that's a future change.

Anyway, the fact that a droid with under 300 points of HAM was designed to engage in melee combat is about the dumbest idea I've ever heard of. The fact that it is the only combat-capable droid other than the probot... is quite telling as to the love showered upond droids and droid engineers thus far.

Yes, a fully experimented DZ70 droid is an even match for a solitary flute... but it will have to rest for a while afterwards. I think it could be enhanced just a tad without risk of imbalancing the whole game.

Well, this is not a rant so much as a cynical musing.

I had a DZ70 for a long time- called him 'chaser' and would tell him to trail other things- about all it was good for.
