Heya, all...
I have some good news (I think) for those of you that get irked by the inability to know what's up with the battery status of your droid.
I'm sitting at Jabba's door sampling some 900+ Fiberplast with my new little MSE crafting droid out.
All of a sudden, I notice something new. " ** Low Power ** " comes floating out from about the MSE!!

No, I didn't give it a command. It's just sitting here titterring at me. And....then....
It floats up again.
It appears that this will recur roughly every 30 seconds.
Enjoy!

Yup...it looks like this annoyance is nailed down. I'm not sure if this is coming in P7..but I'd have to guess that it will be.

Even better, we're supposed to get a power meter display in Publish 8, or so I think I read...

Correct. I'm not sure (yet)if what I'm seeing actually IS that meter or whether this is something that they have done in the interim.

Yup. And...it will start telling you (already) when a new battery is needed.

Well...I didn't exactly stare at the whole time.

I set an alarm at about 19 min. and another at about 38. Then Alt-Tab'ed over and watched for a min. or two.
When it didn't go off at about 40 min. (when I had thought it would), I knew they likely had gone for 1 hour even. It looks like that's what happened.
