I bought an R2 and every time i call it out it changes colors. Is there any way to set the color and keep it the same? I have seen some cool color combos and also some nasty ones.

It has everything you probably want to know about droid customization. But in short R series droids will change colors everytime you pull them out, unless you have a DE customize the droid with the colors you want. And then this customization will last about 20 pulls of the droid when it will shift back to random colors again. You will also get warnings that your customization has faded and this means nothing as it relates to overal droid performance.

Another SOE cute feature, so that DE can sell paint sprayers ; so the paint can flake off.

Maybe the droid skins are really made of teflon or kevlar and paint flakes off!

Ya I just love that feature. All the R droids I made prior to dumping DE pop out as a different colors. It is so amusing.
