Will there be new droids in the Droid invasion or just the same old ones butwith new
battle modules?

No new droids in Pub 7...unfortunately.
I hope the people who come up with the name Droid Invasion and created that wallpaper see what they have done...

The wallpaper "mis-lead" is due to the fact that more CSR's have been pwn'd by militant M. DE's in the game than by any other class.

The devs promised a lot of new uber-droids in Publish 8.
7 was only supposed to introduce combat modules. The wallpaper is nice, but...

Well if the cool droids come in PUb 8 then I guess they are gonna do a good job on them (or thats what I hope)

LOL new droids in pub 8? Same old stuff really ... the flyer is out on what is coming in pub 8... we get to make 10 new entertainer modules that will flash pretty colors. Yes that = 10 new droids in the dev's minds.

You aren't aware of or explaining one simple fact. We could have gotten new droids, but we refused the proposed system of separate Droid Engineer and Droid Handler professions that would have gotten them to us. Don't blame the Devs for what we did to ourselves. Blame them for misunderstanding us in the first place, but don't blame them for the other. Like most DEs, I didn't want a cookie cutter solution of making DE into DE/DH so that it fits the BE/CH "template"
There are many quality issues about the value of the points we spend to become DE versus the amount we get, and these have to be addressed. We need a fair and equitable way for a DE to gain mastery of the part of the SW universe that deals with droids. We already are told we have to allow them to help the 32 other professions, what happens when there are 33,34,35? I like the statements in other threads about unifying our voices for the Devs, so they can't come up with more excuses not to listen to us.
