Bounty Hunter Jedi Tracking Missions: Now, Bounty Hunters can track player
Jedi in the same manner as their NPC targets. Bounty Hunters can get a
mission from the bounty hunter terminal for a player Jedi. Go to your
contact to get the bio-signature. Then just use your seeker/probot droid
to find your target. Keep in mind that unlike the NPC targets, players
will move around unpredictably. (As a result, the location updates can lag
behind a couple of minutes.) Additionally, Bounty Hunter tracking speeds
have been fixed and now as the hunter increases in skill, the tracking
speed will increase.
This is not the first time this mistake has been made. Bounty Hunters use the Arakyd PROBE Droid to find their target, not the PROBOT, right?

in the Starwars universe its the same droid no if as or buts .. the game only makes the distenction of a control unit for one vs. the same droid and a useable unit. so the Term "probot" and mean eather or same goes for Arakyd probe. not to be rude butits not so much a Dev mistake as much as it is you reading to much in to it.

Ok, I think I understand now. But now I have another question...
Does a Bounty Hunter see a probot take off to go search? Or do they see anything at all? I think I've seen a seeker take off and go search....

Yes if you stick around long enough you can watch both of them take of and go search

Go outside Kaadara, many BHs fequent that city. If your lucky you can see them inaction. I had the pleasure of watching them. The BH sends a signal to a Star Destroyer (not litteraly) it in turn returns a Imperial Probot Base, which crashes to the ground. The BH then loads the Bio signal into the droid and it takes off again. The artwork is the same as our Droids that we can add modules too. The only thing different is the name. They are always called "Imperial Probot Base" no matter if the BH is Imperial, Nuetral, or Rebel. Which to me doen't make sense why would Rebels use a Imperial agency to help locate their mark?
