Nope, unfortunately not. Only way would be to have a droid with either no armor or no combat (can't recall the exact combo for CL10).

Honestly I'm not sure this statement applied to droids. It was answered in response to CH's and what would happen to their pets, and since droids do use different code to check to see if they can be called (since players can call CL30 droids but only CL10 creatures) I bet droids will still be callable. Thats just my guess though.
Ah, I was wondering why he was asking about lowering the lvl of his droid. I'm guessing they won't mess with the droid lvling. That woud be kewl if they adjusted the droid lvl based on character lvl. (Lower lvl characters get higher lvl droids and viseversa for High characters with low lvl droids.... but I would rather keep the lvls just as they are now!!!! Jenden.... put in a good word for us!!

Acutally, it's not going to work like that. Crafters will have higher creature levels than they do now based just on spending skillpoints on crafting abilities, IIRC. The downside of no aggro for crafters is that Combat Droids become less useful for self defense. Another area where the Droid market is going to take a hit.

Yep, the downside of no agro, no guard droid.
But, looking at resource acquisition as a trader specific role, maybe only traders can place harvesters now. In which case they need to be able to access the harder planets for that purpose.
