Yesterday, after spending a whole day crafting by hand to use up some of my premade modules, I did the one thing that was unthinkable for me ever since I ,started DE. I dropped the skill ....

In 2003 I started this game as Artisan and soon came to like the crafting in SWG. I took some Marksmen as will and went all over Naboo. Later I found a home on Corellia and started my Master Artisan and soon DE shop. Ever since then I was a DE and had so much fun with it. I have seen many patches and published come (and some go) and never even considered to drop this skill. Even with the CU (where most people already decided to go either full combat or full crafter template) I continued to be MDE and Master rifleman.

The new respec will not allow me to equally use my ELITE professions spend skill points and if I continue the game at all (that is to be decided) I see not much hope for the crafters in future.

I would like to thank Karlie on Wanderhome who had helped me to get my DE business started when I was still quite a Novice DE.

I would also like to than Drashk for doing all his testing work in the past and Jeden who is still working on the best possible transition to the new Trader Engineering brench.

Thank you all form making the last two years in SWG so much fun, it was a great time.

Me to have to bid you all farwell.

I started this game a few month back soly for making droids.

Then I changed my main temp after buying one more account I did take on Master DE on this new char since I love DE. But as it stands with NGE I have no choice but to leve. I have Master AS and to much money in that. I keep’d DE even if I was not making money on it. It’s was a fun prof. that was the only reason for me to even consider buying swg from the start. And now they have taken that away from me.

I have like me fellow DE has. A last Stand for our prof and hand made my last droids today.

The last droid I made was a MSE and named in in the memort of DE my the R.I.P 2005-11-07.

So this is sadly good bye for me aswell and I hope that you that stay on do so in the pride that this prof deserves.

I will stay on as Master DE until the bitter end. And show the DE tag after the NGE hit’s us.
