I had a combat probot prior to pub24 with 7000 armor. Now it has 1200. Did they nerf droids or did mine get bugged?
Thanks

They're all bugged. After the first calling of the droid, armor is always maxed at 1217.

Well, maybe not bugged. The Devs have yet to confirm it is an actual bug. Its been around since Pub 18 when the Creatures were altered forthe Handler profession.
1217 Armor Effectiveness is near the crafted CL30 Pets Armor Effectivenessso may well be the average armor for a CL30 pet and of course we all know that Droids are treated as pets in some pieces of code.

I'm prety sure the armor issue is not working as designed, considering they outlined droid armor as maxing out at 9000 with Pub18. It's just not a game-breaking issue so SOE isn't too hot to fix it. It's on Jenden's List, so we'll just have to sit it out.

Wow i really dont like complaining on here but im gonna do it anyway. THis is a really kool crafting profession but its just so sad to see things like this go for so long without being fixed. But that also goes for just about every thing here. THey shoudl just make all crafting professions combat professions so that we might get some kinda priority for fixes.. you know architechs could throw chairs and drop ppl on tables. Chefs could throw food and smash bottles. etc etc.
Sigh.. hopefully things will change... in a galaxy where robots are everywhere doing almost anything.. its funny that ours are so inept...

Actually as far as I know right now the armor modules are maxed out at lvl 4 modules.... They're all reading incorrectly and even if you put in a lvl6 module it will be the same as a lvl 4. I still reccomend installing lvl6 Just in case they fix the issue in the NGE.
