Thread: DEA? Could someone please explain....

Ok I'm a non-Droid Engineer, but I have been following developments with regards to the new droid modules. While reading the thread on the interplanetry surveying module I came across the term DEA. The first thing that popped into my head was "Droid Enforcement Agency". A milli-second after that I had the mental image of meanacing figures in composite "convincing" prospective DEcustomers that "theseare the driods they were looking for."
Sillyimagery aside, I'd really like to be enlightened as to the make up and purpose of this misterious DEA.

The Droid Engineer Association was started on Ahazi by Woodrow and Doughbacca (aka TK421, our correspondant) many moons ago as a way for us to share knowledge and pool our efforts finding good spawns of the resources we needed.
Eventually, the DEA spread to other servers and we even had a number of inter-server meetings where all DEAs from across the galaxies could come to talk through issues. We even had a dev or two show up for one or two of our meetings, though never publicly.
