Thread: Pulling out a crated droid post-patch?

I'm curious about what is going to happen when the patch goes live and I try to pull out one of my combat droids from a crate.
(1) Will it come out as a pre-patch deed or the new style?
(2) Will, for example, an LE droid experimented up to 90+ percent have 2k+ HAM (pre-patch level) or 5k+ HAM (post-patch level)?
(3) Will we be able to pull them at all, or will this be a repeat of the FWG5 issue which caused the pre-patch guns to poof when pulled from a crate after a certain patch?
By way of explanation, FWG5s were changed at the schematic level not too very long ago. Pulling an item from a crate is a form of insta-craft -- it requires a valid schematic in the system to be crafted on the fly when you pull it out (hence my HAM question). When they changed the FWG5 schematic, the crates were rendered worthless for a long time, since insta-crafting with a nonexistent schematic results in no gun. This was hotfixed finally.
What I don't know is if this hotfix was a general fix to crate-pulling, or a specific fix for the FWG5, and whether we can expect similar issues.
Do any TC DEs have crates of droids from prior to the patch?

How do you plaster phlegm and I don't think you can DNA sample from a footprint...
