I didnt know this before, but the Enrage and HAM enhance buff a CH can do on a pet, works on droids. It brings a probot to over a 1000 HAM. I guess it isn't really that useful to know since a CH can have a lot better pets out than a Droid, but for now when they can call both a pet and a droid it is pretty cool to know.

How about Doctor buffs? Do they work too? probably not

Yes to enrage and berserker CH. Im a master CH. So i have used it and i get the funny little teeth icon on my droid. I have even /bugged it. If you want to think it through it could make sense. I mean these are AI. They have intelligence and morale could effect them.

Really though its a case where droids are metal pets and they forgot to pull this from the abilities of our droids. Kind of like the "Tame" option for the droid deeds. I havent honestly seen much of a difference when i enrage or berserk a droid though. I should try it with my bleeding pre-nerf. See if he acts different.

I paid well for that Probot. And also notice that my second account is a master DE, grinding chef. I believe in droids in this game. Thats the main reason i own one. Because droids are most starwars thing in this game. I had planned on building a probot for each of my guild. But with combat droidscoming in January im going to hold off. Plus CH is getting hit hard in this months patch.

Well you seem to want to turn this into a flame war. But if you have read the posts in this forum. You will know that January is the publish where the DE profession gets it big changes. And you can scream "All promises i want to see results" all you want. But really you have wait like the rest of us.

There is no such thing as a CH Only droid. I dont know where you think this is the case. But im going to guess your response wont be one to continue a discussion but more ranting.

You know I rarely like to full-on /rant. But this is worth it for me. There is no thing as a CH-only droid, but thanks to pet buffs that also work on droids, CHs can have the most powerful droids in the game right now. Doesn't this strike you as unfair or inappropriate?

This is no personal attack on CHs, itsa rant that SWG is so skewed toward them that they have better droids than DEs do.

But if you really must know: More generally, the CH profession should be deleted. Save it for the a fantasy setting where "beastmaster" fits right in. Players should be able to tank on their own or use droids to tank for them; this friggin' Star Wars.

As for the Jan-Feb changes, seeing is believing. If you had read this forum, Fodder650, you'd see that their have been plenty of broken promises; case in point, the fabled TH profession update.

My apologies to all for ranting. I realize this is not a productive thread. It just irked me too much to find out that CHs can have better droids than me AND command a rancor at the same time. Sheesh!

This is just peachy. To think about that whole hairy debate about whether or not DEs should or should not have special droids with special stats, etc. And all the while CHs have the best droids in the game.

"CH-only droids." Has a nice ring to it.
