Thread: repairing vehicles why not droids!?
As I understand it garages will be used to repair vehicles... why not repair droids?! I mean the main purpose of any astromech is to repair ships and vehicles, so I always hoped that with the vehicle patch and space expansion, droids will FINALLY become useful and have a function that corresponds with Star Wars fiction.
This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes me mad. There is a design issue that could obviously be solved by adding functions to droids, yet the devs come up with something else, ignoring the fact that droids actually exist in this universe. *growls*

I think that at the very least the schematic for the Garage should require a few LE repair or astromech droid frames.

What I meant was not droids as a component for garages, but actually using droids with repair modules to repair vehicles INSTEAD of garages - or at least as an alternative.
Although I am pretty sick of droids being only alternatives for other functions (while the droids are usually the less effective method). Go to a hospital OR use a medical droid. Use a crafting station OR get a droid. Go to the bankOR get a droid with item storage. Get an animal pet OR get a probot.
Droids finally need their own place in this game and yet again that chance was missed by using garages to repair vehicles.

Before LE reapir droid can be USED for reparing stuff! i think its wise to FIX THE BUG THAT THEY CANT REPAIR ANYTHING!!
Well thats my thougths!
But on the other hand maybe they just should requier 5 LE reapir droid chassies ore something.. and maybe a few reapir moduels!
