Thread: A question about surgical droids

I've had a few people tell me they have a surgical droid above a 110 med rating, I had always thought the highest med rating was 110, if someone could clear this up for me I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

AFIK, the max you can get with a level 6 exprimented Med Module is a rating of "12", whatever that means. Once the droid is called it gives 110% medical rating. I've never seen anything higher. I've experimented with +900 type resoruces and that was the best I could come up with.

Thank you for your input, I thought this was the case, but again a few people have told me that they have onethat has a 115 med rating and someone else asked me to make one higher than 110, but I don't know how that is possible.

Funny things happened back at the Dawn of Time. Architects built fusion plants with a 20 extraction rate. Maybe someone managed to make a medical droid with over 110 medical rating, though I kind of doubt it.

No, you're thinking of repair modules and repair droids perhaps... Medical modules work well in surgicals, or I've got a lot of unhappy but silent customers, which doesn't seem likely.

MC 110 is a hard cap.. No matter how many medical mods you stack in it you cant go above 110

Also hard caps to keep im mind

- Data storage 150 (who needs that many schematics anyways )

- Item storage 10 (Blah)

- Armor Medium with 40 to all resists

I think it would be very helpful for upcoming DE's and customers who want info to have a stickied thread that lists these current known limitations. I know they are probably in Gorantoth's issues thread, but that requires some digging for info. Just a short, simple topic like Kamaru posted listing the most common bugs like this

-------------------------

Repair modules won't work in LE Repair droids

LE Repair Droids don't repair anything.

Item Storage won't work in Surgical Droids

Surgical Droids don't have any inherent healing effects

Med Modules DO work in Surgical droids

Item Storage capped at 10 per droid

Data Storage capped at 150 per droid (lvl 6 data module)

Armor capped at Medium with 40% resists and can be achieved by using 2 lvl 4 armor modules

Protocol droids and BLL's are best used as furniture

Only put one crafting station in one droid. Multiple craftings stations causes them to break.

------------------------------

Any changes to this list or additions? It would be great to get this stickied for others to see. Might help cut down a lot of frustration.
