Droid Engineer Archive

So far my experience in being a droid engineer has been extremely hard and...a little boring you could say. I was excited at reaching Novice DE (after grinding for hours). But the novelty soon wore off. MSE droids are really poo even though i did manage to sell a load. Now i am grinding my way up the blueprints until i get to some kind of combat droid, this is gonna take me months of grinding and a ton of credits on resources. The sad thing is, DE is such a hard prof for xp, and the things we can craft after leveling are just not good enough for all the time we put into crafting etc. How we are supposed to make money i dont know. I will never make up for all the cash i've wasted on grinding. Why cant we get a lower level combat droid and a better higher level combat droid??

This will give lower level DE's a chance to earn money on something more people will WANT to have, and higher levels will sell more. Also i really do think we need a DE only droid. I spend more on resources to level than what i will ever make, so why can't i have my own personalised combat droid for myself (and maybe the elite combat profs). Please all us DE's are having a hard time, and i know most of u dissagree with having a DE only droid because we will get no customers for it, but it will eb somthing for US. BH's get lighting guns, Commandos get flamers, CH's get everything etc.

We do have a lower level combat droid it is the dz70 it is a fearsome opponent with its 40 ham and its 20 odd damage.

Sorry I miss my lil dz70 from beta when it had about 1k ham and if not much of a damager it could tank enough for core world harvester hunting.

I would imagine when they redo combat droids we will likely see dz70 go back to what it was a fun lil assistant and body guard for the starting de.
