Thread: Good way to make money now that Holocronites are out there
I've been slowly working my way up the tree, making most of my credits from missions, but still running a (little) business. Last night I made a killing while getting some missions in Theed. Some guy (obviously a Holocronite) was shouting that he needed AXP and would pay 500 Credits PER POINT he recieved for training people. I ignored the first 2 or 3 times I heard him, the math not really sinking in. Then I recognized the lucrativeness of this deal, and since I had 10000 or so scout XP sitting around doing nothing (Took Novice Scout at character start so I could harvest hides and havent done much training with it) I figured I'd call him on his little deal.
He trained me (very happily I might add) in two skills and gave me 30K credits! I couldn't believe this, so I asked him how he could afford it, and he said that he had 4.5 Million Credits in hand just from missions and was indeed pursuing Jedi, as I'd surmised. All in all, the most profitable 5 minutes of time I've ever had in the game! I wonder if there's a way I could do this professionally, like 'Novice Student' I could just shout in town "Apprenticeship XP for sale! 500 Credits per AXP!" or "Looking to train Scouting I, pay me 15K for the privilege of training me!"
Ridiculous, but profitable, it makes me laugh, had to share
