Well another good patch, if your another profession that is. I dont mind waiting for things to happen but its a little sad to say the least. So many things fixed in all these professions but not ONE really major thing touched in ours. Its like our profession doesnt matter, and were looseing people all the time due to these bugs, ect.

I havent posted any since I have started the Droid Engineer profession but I think its time to let it all out. For one thing I think it sticks we cant have more than one droid out at a time....lets see, creature handlers can have how many at one time? Three!! And our probots are the equivelent to a Peko - Peko, thats a lvl 12 creature.....non-creature handlers can have up to lvl 15. Well why would anyone want a Probot when they can get a creature thats more powerful. We have a wish list, we have a Dev that I have seen post and is trying to get things done but I see no results. I dont know much about programming but I dont think it takes that long to write the code we need to make the changes.

I hear talk from the Dev's on game BALANCE. THis has to be the biggest joke Ive seen in a long time. For one thing a creature handler being able to have a uber creature and our only attack droid barely cons red doesn't seem like balance to me. Or the proverbal Imperials walking around with THREE AT-ST's while the poor rebels have zip....Game balance, yeah RIGHT!

Anyway, I am sure there is more that I could rant on. But I think that is plenty for now. Please dont flame me for what I have said.....and I am not a rebel, Im neutral so forget saying Im with the Rebels. Were talking fairness here and I am just bringing out valid points on things that I think are messed up with Droid Engineering in general as well as with the game. I love Droid Engineering and I will stick with it for as long as it takes, but we are paying for this game and I think something should be done.....after all, isnt the customer supose to be right. Or does that only apply to stores where you can talk face-to-face to someone.

Have a good time out there everyone, and have fun making those droids!

I would have liked to seen more, but it's not true that nothing major was done for droids. Permadeath is GONE.

Nothing major was done, they just reversed perma death now that most pre-nerf probots are gone.

The seekers and arakyds? Fix for the BH in my opinion, they could hardly find their droids anymore.

Reversing a terrible design decision one month after implementing it isn't what I consider a "major change". I call that fixing your own mistakes. There was NOTHING really geared towards DEs in this patch, nothing. We got some ansilary fixes because they were working on CH. We got a little seeker love because they were making things better for BHs and we got a reverse on a bad decsiion (perma death). We got nothing new. We got no BUG FIXES, which would have been nice, and we got no new features. This could mean that DE is the profession that gets the "next big fix". I hope so. But, since we get no communication at all, we won't know until the big patch next month. *sigh*

we got bug fixes.. everything that was fixed for pets is a bug fix.. (Droids use the same code as pets)

Now i admit the data module need to beable to store waypoints...

the factory bug was more important in my opinion..

I'd rather them spend time on the combat droids then releasing them and they don't work.

I don't think there is anyone working on droids. we don't get any kind of response to out correspondents issue list, we barely got "honarable mention" in the new patch. we have as many, if not more, problems than any other class, yet we're put on the back burner apparently indefinitely. I've been considering joining another profession until more bugs are worked out here.. I LOVE making droids, but who needs one? they don't do anything, and this is STAR WARS!!!

I'm not saying nerf anyone, and I'm not saying I'm quitting, and I'm not saying that I'm having no fun. What I AM saying, is that they can't keep throwing in a page worth of fixes for creature handlers and scouts/rangers and do nothing about us. who helped luke and the others defeat vader and the emperor? was it his faithful eopie from the moisture farm? NO! it was a couple DROIDS!!!!!

IMHO, the devs are fixing what is the craze of the moment.

Pets are much more popular than droids, so they get all the attention.

That's the way it seems to me at least.
