Thread: ok I'm 2,0,3,4 what recourses should I set my harvestors at, now that im done with grinding?
I am at about the same place as you, and I recommend this is what I am doing:
Constant use (4 lots):
1 heavy + 2 mediums on steel (I still grind a bit to make levels go quicker)
1 med chem on fiberplastsome of the time, inert petrochem some of the time
Variable use (I pull these on and off as needed, 2 lots):
1 small natural gas extractor on inert gas
1 med mineral on silicastic ore
1 small mineral on copper
___
So the 4 lots are always cranking steel and either fiberplast or inert petrochem. I have2 remaining lots for resource harvesters of which I run 2 of the 3 listed in the Variable section. Why do these vary? Because we DE's need a lot less copper, ore, and gas than fiberplast/inert petrochem and steel. So I collect gas for a week or two, get 10k - 20k of it, redeed it. Same with the ore and copper.
Even though you done grinding you still need steel more than ore or copper, and inert petrochem.
Disclaimer: This might not make any sense, because it barely does to me. ![]()
2.3.0.4.... put them on steel and fiberplast and try to get 4.4.4.4
on the top of my head... with your skills you need extrusive ore, ditainium steel, duralloy steel that's about it.
Copper: Get one with a good Conductivity and Overall Quality
Steel: Likewise
Steel (again): Get one with a good Shock Resistance and Unit Toughness
Fiberplast: Get one with a high Shock Resistance and Unit Toughness
Chemical: Get one with a high Overall Quality
Polymer: Get one with a high Overall Quality
Extrusive Ore: Get one with a high Shock Resistance and Unit Toughness
Inert Gas: Get one with a high Overall Quality
Aluminum: Get one with a high Conductivity and Overall Quality
That should cover about 95% of the resources you'll need to make any particular droid (assuming you're a Master Artisan). You may need to dig up a few resources depending upon specific modules you're making, but this gets you most of the way there.
