I have blue prints 4, and techniques 3. I'm sitting right by the droid trainer. Shouldn't I be able to make one with my droid crafting tool?

Make sure you aren't near a public crafting station like the one next to the DE trainer. It has to be a private station.

Also, make sure you have master artisan as well. You will need to make a control unit and a microsensor suite (which needs a control unit inside of it as well). If you are not a Master Artisan, you will have to purchase the components from one.

Are you using your crafting tool, standing next to a droid crafting station?

Try building a mouse droid with a weaponsmith module. Call that droid out and have it next to you. Then use your droid crafting tool and see if you have 15 more schematics that you can make...

Make sure your are using the droid/weapon/general crafting tool and not the general one you get when you start the character. You must be by a personal crafting station, so one in a house or inanother droid, not the one in the cities. Took me forever to figure this out because I was one of the 1st DE's on the server. Good luck to you. As soon as you can, make a r5 with weapon crafting station in it. This will help out tremendously, will allow you to make droids anywhere.
