I was thinking about becoming either a armorsmith or droid engineer now that I have qualified. But, just then it occured to me - what's the point of becoming a DE? What useful droids do they make now that they're all nerfed? I know there WAS a demand for droids with a datapad module when you were still allowed to store pets on them, but since then, the only useful droids I've seen is the ones with a medical module and a crafting station module (CS now all the useful anyways- why not just use your general crafting kit in your inventory? :smileyindifferent

I want to know what players want now that Droid Engineer is broken...

Why use a Private crafting station? Well, your specialised tool can't make everything without being near a crafting station. And once the complexity gets real high, a public won't do either.

Want to use a factory, will need that crafting station again.

We make Seeker and Probe droids that are helpful to Bounty Hunters.

We make droids with medical modules that (at level 6) can give a 10% bonus to any medical task done close to them.

I've found mobile crafting stations to be a HUGE help in the way I play my game.

Probots are not useless, especially with max armor- combined with a pet, they are a VERY effective combat team for a lo-mid level crafter-fighter.

Droids look cool, and add to my immersion. I like having them around. I like seeing them in houses.

I use my little r3 everywhere I go. He allows me to craft items and repair my friends droids. The most important feature being crafting anywhere I want. The freedom to leave the basement of my naboo home is near priceless in my book.
