Just wondering, if you guys are seriously gonna keep playing the game? I quit it was way too much of a headache for me to handle for a game that is suppose to be fun. If your not going to quit, are you going to get rid of the DE profession? We were suppose to get battle droids this patch I thought? Doesn't seem like they really fixed anything except perma death. Well just curious to see what you guys think...

Not sure when the battle droids are coming, but it shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

I know for a fact that droidekas exist on Lok, and I've fought an IG assassin droid on Tatooine....so the art work for those are definitely done. Just let us craft them and give them some stats so people will want to buy them.

Seriously considering throwing in the towel. DE is the hardest elite profession to get into with the 28000 crafting XP, I remember thinking I should stop when I passed architect, armorsmith and weaponsmith. But no, I kept going because this is StarWars - droids are important aren't they... This isStar Wars right ? You know, Jedi knights, epic battles, DROIDS...

This is Star Wars, isn't it ?

The only other alternative is to master a combat profession and find something to beat up on. The 'player economy' is a falacy and with the elite professions bugged into pointlessness the game is starting to get repetitive. All I can really do now as a DE is run my harvies and collect the necessary resources in the hope that the class will be fixed.

If I wanted to become a creature handler, I would have - not that it is as rosey as ppl seem to think. The PA I belong to is full to overflowing with crafters of the other professions that interest me - the only exception being Bio-Engineer, while not as bugged as DE (at least they have some useable products) still very limited in application.

Right now I'm still a Master Artisan, Specialist Rifleman and spend most of my time attending to harvesters. I am hoping DE will be fixed, I have Master Artisan as that will (should!) be the base class for a vehicle builder. Without any feedback or dates on this forum it seems there is little hope for the DE profession.

If vehicles are run the same way the game has been managed to date, don't expect crafted vehicles to work. If history is anything to go by Creature Mounts will be the preferred mode of transport and will receive far more attention from the devs.

Please guys - give us something to go by... Some light at the end of the crafting tunnel...

I repeat, This is Star Wars, isn't it ?

I am still playing... It would be nice if I could do more as a DE... but making droids in SWG is not how I earn my daily bread in life... and even with a limited functionality in my DE products there is still enough to SWG for me to have fun. Droids will not make or break the game for me... although it was a deciding factor behind my buying the game in the first place. (that and that .hack TV show)

no idea on battledroids, but I'm still playing...... not grinding anymore though..... I decided my mental health was more important than making droids that don't work right. I have to check tonight, but I think I may have neglected my harvesters to the point of losing whatever resouces I had them pulling... hehe that's how important "the Grind" has become to me... haha

See you on the other side

Well, for starters the DE profession isn't the hardest one to get into, but I do think ithas the longest grinding trek to master.

I put a lot of work into my profession so far, I'm not about to give it up now. As long as I do something in the game I've always wanted to do I'm going to continue having fun.

As for Battle droids (Droidekas and so forth), I would not even half expect them until the Space Expansion early next year.
